Who we are

The media world is shifting fast: audiences, especially young people, are moving from traditional TV to digital platforms. People increasingly consume information through short video, native social formats, YouTube content and podcasts, often on smartphones, on the go, on-demand.

The platform algorithms decide what to watch first, rewarding what grabs attention, drives interaction and is published with the right cadence and formats. At the same time, podcasting has moved from niche to a stable part of the media diet. In this scenario, it makes sense to think of Pressenza+ as a small audio-video publisher able to bring Pressenza’s humanist vision into these new languages and spaces.

Pressenza+ is the project to create a multilingual publisher focused on video and podcast, born from Pressenza’s experience and values. It is not just a YouTube channel, but:

• a lightweight editorial structure dedicated to audio-video content;
• with recurring formats (columns, series, podcasts);
• distributed on multiple platforms: YouTube, Spotify, other podcast platforms, social.

All with a clear common thread: telling the world that changes, the struggle of social movements or social inequalities from the point of view of nonviolence, social justice and the centrality of the human being.

Pressenza+ aims to:

• Grow a community that continuously produces video and podcast formats consistent with humanist values.
• Create recurring programs, not just one-off pieces: explainers, thematic deep dives, profiles and testimonies, dialogue podcasts.
• Offer local newsrooms, activists and collaborators a structured space to bring their voice in audio-video form.

Pressenza+ is the publisher; others create the content. We provide formats, expertise and distribution channels to launch and grow programs aligned with the humanist line.

The Editorial Team is a small stable group that provides direction and helps projects take shape. In the launch phase it handles:

• Helping creators define concept, format, and episode structure.
• Turning an idea into a clear editorial project: series title, objectives, first 3–5 well-thought episodes.

4.2 Guidance on shooting and editing

• Practical guidance on shooting and organizing the work.
• Editing consultancy: pacing, graphics, runtimes for different channels.

4.3 Distribution and algorithms

• Crafting titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, publishing calendar.
• Extracting shorts/vertical clips from every episode to feed social channels and drive traffic to the main content.

5.1 From idea to project

1. Proposal: help to design a video series, a podcast or a hybrid project.
2. Editorial assessment: potential audience, feasibility, projections.
3. Co-design: format, duration, outline of the first episodes, calendar.
